Who we are
Flockarewe ("we", "us") provides livestock-tracking software operated by Take2 Technology. This policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it. Contact: hello@flockarewe.com.
Data we collect
Account details (name, email, organisation) via our authentication provider; animal and location data your tags send to your workspace (device IDs, coordinates, timestamps, battery); and any details you enter (animal names, tag numbers, notes, alert email). We also collect basic technical logs for security and reliability.
How we use it
To provide the service — showing your animals on a map, running geofence and movement rules, sending alerts you configure, and supporting your account. We do not sell your data.
Location data
Location pings belong to your organisation and are visible only to members of your workspace. A recovery/share link, if you create one, exposes a single animal's live location to anyone with that link until you revoke it.
Sharing
We use trusted sub-processors to run the service (hosting, database, authentication, and email/SMS/push delivery). They process data only to provide their function. We may disclose data where required by law or to assist in recovering strayed or stolen animals at your request.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete tags and their history at any time; on account closure we delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it for legal reasons.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including UK GDPR), you may request access, correction, deletion or export of your personal data, and may object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Security
Access is protected by authentication and data is isolated per organisation. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a revised date.
This template policy is provided for convenience and should be reviewed by your own legal adviser before launch.
